Minimum Position Qualifications:

  1. Master’s in Social Work or closely related degree from an accredited college.
  2. Five (5) years’ experience in Social Work/Counseling field including supervisory experience.
  3. Independent licensure in Kentucky (LCSW preferred)
  4. Proven knowledge in substance use disorder treatment (LCADC preferred)
  5. Strong leadership, process management and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strategic and fiscal planning skills and abilities.
  7. A highly effective and skilled communicator.
  8. Must have a current driver’s license and driver’s insurance.
  9. Demonstrate proven sensitivity to the various cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of Children’s Home clients and staff, including a commitment to use of the Sanctuary Model and to the philosophy of All Children, All Families framework of cultural competencies.

    Position Summary:

    The Clinical Process Manager is responsible for back-end clinical support to our two primary treatment lines, Outpatient and Residential. In reporting to the Chief Programming Officer, this associate will work collaboratively with the Vice President of Residential and Outpatient, as well as Program Supervisors on evidence-based practice sourcing, fidelity management and implementation. This associate will be a trained trainer when applicable (i.e. Seven Challenges), support corresponding supervision, and execute the vision of Managers, Directors and Vice Presidents in ascertaining cutting edge EBPS.

    Correspondingly, the Clinical Process Manager will also manage and if necessary, supervise interns, support their placement within programs and assist in the facilitation of transition of such persons into employment positions.

    The Clinical Process Manager will also provide clinical supervision and review documentation as well as develop training for the presence of the golden thread.


    Essential Job Functions:

    1. Direct responsibilities for overseeing the clinical evidence-based practice sourcing, implementation, and training.
    2. Responsible for the management, evaluation and training of the case managers and therapists evidence-based practice training.
    3. Collaborate with clinical supervisors and program supervisors to share research, and execute supervisors’ vision for EBP implementation in their program.
    4. Review and enhance current curriculum to ascertain EBP fidelity.
    5. Collaborate with outside constituencies for EBP training planning and execution.
    6. Collaborate with agency trainer
    7. Enables and supports staff to perform their responsibilities and develop their skills providing leadership, supervision and annual evaluation.
    8. Provides licensure supervision for licensed staff as allowed by licensure boards as applicable
    9. Assist with reviewing referrals for program admission.
    10. Schedules, attends and documents clinical and consultation meetings. Reviews clinical assessments, treatment plans and other documentation for clinical appropriateness, progress and discharge planning. 
    11. Completes group/on call/and case consultation schedules.
    12. Collaborates with the recruiter on the recruiting, scheduling and placement of the interns/externs as well as duties/activities/supervisors in order for the agency to utilize them appropriately.
    13. Collaborates with the Director of Admissions and the Vice President on the review and update of the Behavior Management System.
    14. Develops, in conjunction with the QA team, effective documentation methods within the agency data system.
    15. Supports all functions that attain and maintain COA accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies (in cooperation with the Quality Assurance staff) developing, evaluating and refining as needed.
    16. Participates in on call rotation.
    17. Attends treatment team meetings and monitors the clinical progress of the clients.
    18. Develops a business plan for the Clinical components of the Residential Programs.
    19. Assist with case coverage across programs as needed.
    20. Facilitates some group, individual and family therapy.
    21. Oversees the training and development (in cooperation of the Directors) that enables the staff to grow in their position in accordance with the goals of the agency. Obtain and maintain training in evidence based practices and treatment modalities which may include: Nurturing Parenting, Trauma Focused CBT,  JSOCCP certification, PBIS, Seven Challenges and Trauma Informed Care. 
    22. Attend required trainings as assigned.
    23. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Physical demands and work environment:

    1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, kneel, squat, and hold objects or carry.
    2. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
