Accounting Assistant

NBP is a Claremont, CA based company in the business of designing, engineering and manufacturing Communication and Approach Lighting Systems and products for the aviation industry.

Obtains financial data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintains department files and records.

2. Responsible for Accounts Payable & assisting with A/R. This includes statement reconciliation and 3-way matching.

3. Assists with journal entry recording and posting. Other duties as assigned.

4. Payroll processing. Will train.

5. Problem solving abilities and a desire to learn and grow are a must!

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounting experience required.
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills

Must be proficient in Excel and Word.

Experience with Epicor/Kinetic a plus, but not required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
