CNC Machine Operator (Horizontal Manual Late M.O & Boring Milling M.O)

We are seeking Experience CNC machine operators with Horizontal Manual Late and Horizontal Boring Milling. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6am-5:30pm and Saturday's from 7am-12pm. During peak season, employees are required to work Mon-Fri from 6am-7:30pm and Saturday's from 7am-12pm.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Producing quality parts on CNC Boring Mill, with minimal supervision.
• Responsible for set-up, operation, and programming
• Experience with Mastercam programming.
• Ability to understand and read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers.
• Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces as a
guide for machining
• Troubleshooting machine issues
• Operates a Forklift and lifting devices for the movement of parts.
• Works with warehouse supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other
warehouse personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and performing basic
preventative maintenance functions.
• Responsible for the enforcement of all company health, safety, and environmental rules.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience operating as a CNC HBM machinist in a heavy manufacturing
environment.
• Fanuc Control experience
• Be able to create your set-up.
• Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an advanced
understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions.
• Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting,
multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra to calculate material fabrication.
• Knowledge and application of precise measuring instruments and the application of such
instruments, including but not limited to calipers, ID & OG micrometers, depth gages,
indicators, and scales.
• Knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on various
machines.
