Job Summary:

As a Registered Dietitian, you'll play a key role in leading nutrition services programs tailored to our elderly population and WIC participants. Your days will be filled with assessing nutritional needs, providing education, and analyzing intake to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.

Essential Job Functions:

• Dive into investigations to address complaints and enhance our dietary and nutrition services, always maintaining compliance with rigorous standards.
• Evaluate and fine-tune program performance to ensure we're exceeding guidelines and regulations.
• Be the driving force behind program efficiency and effectiveness, constantly seeking ways to improve.
• From planning to implementation, you'll spearhead nutrition and dietary services and programs.
• Develop and refine policies and procedures crucial for seamless program execution.
• Foster collaboration among staff and coordinate activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Empower others with nutrition knowledge through engaging training and educational programs.
• Collaborate with external agencies to enhance our nutrition and dietary services.
• Your keen eye will ensure menu substitutions meet the highest nutritional standards.
• Stay at the forefront of nutritional research and apply findings to our aging population's care.
• Review menu documentation to guarantee compliance with nutritional standards.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition from an accredited college or university.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, American Dietetic Association.
• Licensed Dietitian in accordance with Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 701, or obtain within 3 months of employment.
• Bilingual: Fluent in English & Spanish
