Primrose School of Broken Arrow is seeking a Kindergarten Teacher to begin work in May 2024, leading our Summer Adventure Club K- 5 Grade and leading into our August 2024 school year for our Kindergarten classroom. As a Kindergarten Teacher at Primrose School of Broken Arrow, youll help prepare students for elementary school through small group academic lessons, scientific investigation, creative expression, physical well-being, and social and emotional development.

- Teach children through the design thinking process with challenges that help them learn problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, executive function skills, and good character.
- Help children learn critical literacy and math skills as well as engage in projects focused on science, art, social studies, and character development.
- Work with your co-teacher to implement the lesson plans from the research-informed Balanced Learning curriculum.
- Discover what works best for each child (songs, stories, games, art, etc.) to motivate and stimulate their abilities.
- A minimum of one to two years of teaching experience, or a May 2024 graduate, is preferred.
- Bachelors degree in early education preferred.
- Teaching certification completed or in process with the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
- Strong organization skills, abilities to prioritize and plan work activities, and time management skills.
- Ability to look beyond the standard solutions and display original thinking and creativity.
