Entry Level Field Service Engineer

Principal Service Solutions is hiring Entry Level Field Service Engineer Trainees that will be responsible for servicing and maintaining Semiconductor tools in a cleanroom environment.

We are hiring local people located in the NE of the Dallas Metroplex area due to the commute to the worksite location in Richardson, TX.

A mixture of formal and OJT will be provided and successful candidates may be required to travel for training. A valid passport is required for this role.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Ability to perform complex manual tasks. Great dexterity and hand eye coordination is required.
• Thirst to learn, ability to work as part of a team and follow instruction as an when needed.
• Excellent practical electrical or mechanical skills and experience
• Strong work ethic, excellent time keeping, willingness to grow as a person
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand and interpret technical documentation, such as work instructions and graphical aids.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, etc. for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to work in a Cleanroom environment while wearing constrictive attire (cleanroom suits and personal protective gear), for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and move items weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must be open to working any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc...
• Perform equipment installations and start-ups, conversions and upgrades.
• Perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Follow all safety guidance and comply with ALL safety policies

Work Experience

• 2+ years military or work experience in a technical hands on role is a plus, but entry level candidates will be considered.
• Experience in a semiconductor or related industry is a plus.
• Time and Project management skills highly desirable.
• Strong Electro-Mechanical work experience required

Education

• Associates in relevant Engineering Subject is preferred but open to Trade school Graduates with exceptional electromechanical skills and work ethic.

Pay Rate:

1 to 14 weeks: $30.00/hr
15 to 39 weeks: $31.50/hr
40 to 52 weeks: $33.00/hr
