Job description

An international semiconductor machinery company is actively seeking an Entry Level Field Service Engineer to join their facility near Portland, OR.

Responsibilities of Field Service Engineer

  • Ensure machineries at customer sites are working properly
  • Perform machinery programing, maintenance/troubleshooting at customer site
  • Install the new machinery and perform preventative maintenance
  • Work on engineering drawing, schematics, manuals, and training for customers
  • Analyze the current production flow and efficiency and provide consultation for process improvement
  • Maintain clean and safe workplace and ensure the team follows company procedure and policies
  • Analyze the existing system and implement action plans for quality improvement
  • Communicate with customers effectively and handle difficult situations
  • Build and maintain a professional relationship with team members for effective communication
  • Follow all OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA standards for optimal operations for the facility
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications of Field Service Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience or equivalent experience
  • Ability to join 1 year training overseas
  • 0-1years of experience of engineering internship
  • Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team
  • Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
  • Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
