Job Description

Are you ready for a fulfilling career journey where your passion for patient care meets your love for optics? At Scleral Studio by Twenty Twenty Eyecare, we're in search of an exceptional Optometric Technician to join our vibrant and growing team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Your Heart in Patient Care: We're not just looking for someone to fill a role; we're searching for an individual who's truly passionate about providing excellent patient care. If you believe that every patient deserves the best, we want to hear from you.
  • Detail-Oriented : Your meticulous attention to detail is your superpower. You thrive on precision because you understand that it's the little things that make a big difference in eyecare.
  • Interpersonal: Strong communication skills are your forte. You'll be the friendly face patients interact with before seeing the doctor, so your ability to connect and empathize is crucial.

Responsibilities That Will Excite You:

  • Pre-testing: Perform a variety of diagnostic tests, from tonometry to pachymetry and visual field testing, ensuring our patients receive comprehensive evaluations.
  • Preliminary: Conduct preliminary patient tests like visual acuity, color vision, and depth perception, setting the stage for precise diagnoses.
  • Chief Complaint: Obtain patient medical history and understand their chief complaints to help our optometrists provide targeted care.
  • Lens Assistance: Assist with contact lens fittings and guide patients in the art of inserting, removing, and caring for their lenses.

Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Educational Spark: A high school diploma or equivalent is the baseline, but if you've got some college coursework in optometry or a related field, that's a fantastic bonus.
  • Experience : At least 1+ year of experience as an optometric technician is not necessary but is a bonus. Your previous expertise will be your guiding star in this role. On the job training is available.
  • Team Harmony: You thrive in a team environment and believe that collaboration enhances the patient experience.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in computer skills and electronic health records (EHR) is essential.

If you're ready to contribute to our positive and upbeat work environment, where your passion for patient care can shine, we encourage you to seize this exciting opportunity at Scleral Studio.
