Pay:65K- 85K (DOE) + Incentive Plan
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Department: Shop
Shift: Day Shift (Full-Time)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Liberty Tire Recycling is the premier provider of tire recycling services in the United States. Our Salt Lake City, Utah facility is looking for a Rolling Stock Manager to join our team! The Facility Rolling Stock Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our trucks, bobcats, forklifts and trailers preventative and predictive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, revisions to existing equipment, and process improvement. The position also performs other duties as required to promote overall plant productivity and safety effectiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Utah State Safety inspections for trucks and trailers
- Assists with ordering, verification, and inventory of parts.
- Works closely with Production Supervisor/Managers on all problems and improvements related to machine/equipment design.
- Maintains records of all preventive and corrective maintenance performed and assures proper data entry into maintenance system.
- Maintains a safe and productive work environment.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for directing, training, and developing shop mechanics.
- Coordinates work of all mechanics, including delegation of jobs, answering specific technical questions, and monitoring progress of work (including quality and quantity).
- Reviews work orders, assigns tasks to employees, and verifies the quality of work performed.
- Conducts employee observations. Discusses findings with employees.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- The position will report to a Site Manager.
Education/Skills/Experience
- Minimum 5+ years maintenance experience
- Previous experience in overseeing a maintenance crew to ensure that all rolling stock equipment is maintained and operating properly.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all employees in the facility, both verbally and in writing.
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledge of machinery and tools used, including welding equipment and electrical work on trucks and trailers.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and implementation of safety regulations.
