Job Description

Position: Accountant

Location: Green Bay, WI

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee subledgers and general ledger, maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of information
Perform month-end close duties and financial statement preparation
Manage and oversee departmental budget data and forecasts accordingly
Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations to predict future revenue and expenditures
Perform job costing analysis by customer to analyze labor, materials and overhead costs
Analyze month-end and year-end reports to identify and recommend cost-effective improvements.
Analyze production costs and prepare reports reflecting standard versus actual costs

Core Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
CPA preferred but not required
Advanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite and proven advanced Excel skills
Experience utilizing Sage accounting package preferred but not required
Experience in the manufacturing industry required
