Job Description

An established manufacturer in Orange County seeks a Parts Supply Analyst to manage supplier relations and inventory controls and analysis.

  • $ 23.00 – 29.00 per hour (non-exempt)
  • Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (30-minute lunch)
  • Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

 

Requirements of the Parts Supply Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Work experience in supplier relations, data analysis, parts forecasting, inventory analysis and/or finished goods supply chain management desired
  • Experience with SAP or other large ERP system preferred
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Analytical and organized
  • Strong vendor relations and time management skills

 

Responsibilities of the Parts Supply Analyst:

  • Review and analyze assigned group of domestic suppliers
  • Ensure supplier conformance to policy and procedures
  • Negotiate with suppliers on a continuing basis
  • Prioritize supply issues by engaging in root cause and countermeasure solutions analysis
  • Analyze inventory levels to ensure demands are met utilizing various reporting functions i.e. open or delinquent POs, low stock, out of stock and backorders, customer demand, accelerated demand trends, seasonality
  • Support various other inventory control activities including, but limited to, stock adjustments, scrap transactions, credit memos, vendor returns, and vendor chargebacks
  • Other related duties as assigned

 

Employment type: Long-Term Temp

Work schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
