Do you have Sales, Retail, or Customer Service experience with the ability to learn new information quickly? How about a self-starter mentality? We are currently seeking motivated individuals to become Car Sales Associates at WESTWAY FORD. This position is full-time!

Previous Automotive experience is required. We have an excellent training program, and we will help you grow a career in automotive.

Responsibilities

• Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
• Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Build strong rapport with customers.
• Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentations and demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process following company standards.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis

Requirements

• Must have sold cars before.
• Comfortable with compensation based on commission sales
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
• Have quality customer service skills
• Possess strong communication skills
• Must have a clean & valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen before employment

Responsibilities

• Be able to build relationships with customers.

• Adapt consultative selling skills. Assist customers in selecting a vehicle that fits them by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

• Continuously learn and develop product knowledge. Know the in’s and the out’s of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies.

• Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.

• Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business.

• Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.

• Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

• Bring your ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day.

Qualifications

• Needs to be available to work Monday-Saturday

• Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred

• Ready to waste no time learning new product ins and out’s, eager to improve

• Strong communication skills with customers and team members

• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
