Position Title: Mechanical Design Engineer - Semiconductor 3D/2D drawings GD&T experience

Location: Santa Clara, California

Industry: Semiconductor / Hi-Tech

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

Problem identification and troubleshooting of a wide range of complex mechanical problems with limited to no supervision
Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including the development of key suppliers
Specify the development of, design, or modify engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of complex scope
Interface with internal and external customers regarding a wide range of complex mechanical issues for the specific project
Implements concepts for a range of complex product issues and solutions
Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly, and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.
Establishes standards across all operational processes.
Serves as a technical expert on specialized projects or programs
Generate product specifications
Define, coordinate, perform, and generate engineering test reports. Specify and review engineering documentation. Specify or perform engineering analysis of a complex scope with limited to no supervision

Education and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering experience.

· Must have 7 to 10 years of Semiconductor experience

· Must Have experience in 3D/2D drawing + modeling (NX, Solidworks, Creo).

· Simulation and analysis are good to have.

· Master with 3D design, 2D drawing tolerance, and GD&T, experienced with stress analysis, and thermal calculation.

· Understand FEA modeling and CFD modeling.
