SUMMARY
ROHM Semiconductor has an immediate opening, Come join an empowered HTOL team as an Electronics Design Engineer. You will be collaborating with a diverse group in designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating electronic parts and systems. This is an entry level role. The position is in person onsite.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:
  • Understanding of customer application and use cases, and applying that knowledge to exercise devices in dynamic HTOL testing
  • New circuit development includes datasheet research, IC selection, simulations, and prototype circuit evaluation on bench.
  • Schematic development and PCB layout of burn-in boards and daughter boards
  • Engineering support for ROHM Data Capture System code development and system validation; software and firmware new development in C and Python
  • Failure analysis, failure reproduction, root cause analysis, and report generation
  • Light Travel (Domestic)
  • Flexible schedule to interact with HQ counterparts
  • Perform presentations

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Training
  • Bachelors in electrical (electronics) engineering or similar discipline
  • 0-2 years of work experience or equivalent education/training

  • Willingness to learn new skills and engage in training / development activities.

  • Effective communication, verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask, working on several projects simultaneously, and prioritizing effectively
