Entry-Level Technical Support Technician

Location: Boise, ID | Manassas, VA | Phoenix, AZ
Type: Contract 6 with potential to convert full-time
Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday | 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM

Pay: Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience

About the Role

We are hiring Entry-Level Technical Support Technicians to support engineers inside a semiconductor manufacturing (FAB / clean room) environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience in clean rooms, manufacturing, or technical/mechanical support who are looking to grow within the semiconductor industry.

You will assist engineers with equipment installations, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and general on-site support. This role offers strong exposure to semiconductor operations and has potential to convert to full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Support on-site engineers with equipment installation and setup
  • Assist with tool maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Perform hands-on technical and mechanical support tasks
  • Help with material movement and equipment positioning
  • Follow all clean room and safety procedures
  • Provide general support as directed by engineering staff

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in the following:
    • Semiconductor fab OR cleanroom environment (preferred)
    • Hands-on mechanical/technical support, installation support, maintenance support, or similar
  • Comfortable with:
    • Working on your feet in an industrial/cleanroom setting]
    • Lightโ€“moderate physical work (material movement; equipment available)ย 
  • Ability to follow procedures closely and communicate well on-site

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor FAB experience
  • Existing clean room or FAB badge
  • OSHA certification
  • Entry-level candidates with relevant exposure are encouraged to apply
