Location: Independence, MO
Salary: $ 65,000- $ 84,000
Schedule: 980 Schedule
Focus: The Process Engineer Technician maximizes throughput and safety by maintaining high-speed equipment, building production BOMs, and managing data within ERP systems like Costpoint. This role acts as the technical bridge between engineering and production floor execution-analyzing complex packing configurations, training machine operators through technical work instructions, and championing strict compliance with explosive shipping regulations
Processing Engineering Technician Job Functions:
  • Navigate ERP software (Costpoint experience is a plus).
  • Learn and champion explosive shipping regulations and documentation.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on high speed manufacturing equipment.
  • Support engineers with process improvements, tooling adjustments, and data collection.
  • Analyze packing configurations for orders of varying products.
  • Provide technical work instruction for machine operators.
  • Build and maintain production bill of materials.
  • Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety procedures.

Processing Engineering Technician Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years' hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of accountability with ability to take ownership of machine performance, product quality, and adherence to safety and production standards
