CMM Programmer/Inspector

Job Title: CMM Programmer/Inspector

Summary: Responsible for programming Zeiss CMM using Calypso 5.4 software and other quality related tasks.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• · Extensive knowledge of Interpreting blueprint and model-based definitions.
• · Extensive experience of programing CMM, using Blueprint and Model Base
• · Must be able to program off and on site.
• · Prepare first article inspection reports if needed.
• · Assist Quality Engineer and/or Quality Manager with problem investigations.

Skills & Knowledge:

• GD & T (ANSI-Y 14.5)
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
• Must be able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle fast-paced workflow.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Mathematical skill level at Trigonometry or higher
• Ability to use SME and proficiency in part layout.
• Knowledge and experience with FARO ARM (VERISURF) Laser Tracker is a major plus.
• Prior experience with Net Inspect to upload FAIs is a major plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of five years in CMM programming and inspection of COMPLEX machined parts
• Must have five years with first article inspection, in-process inspection.

Physical Requirements:

This job requires extensive sitting or standing throughout the workday.

• Able to use all five senses, use of both hands.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lb.
