Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Manufacturer

Ability to obtain PE license * Required to have four years of full-time engineering experience under the supervision of a PE.

We're currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment. Their machinery is highly customized allowing this engineer to invest their time in understanding the design process for their machines from beginning to end.

​Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related.
• 1+ years of experience as a design engineer or mechanical engineer.
• Machine or Industrial Equipment Design experience is a PLUS.
  • (Pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
• Analysis and design of steel structures or weldments would also be a PLUS.

Responsibilities:

• Design new and existing product orders from customers.
• Generally juggling several different equipment projects simultaneously, but primarily focused on the actual design activities.
• Designing parts, components, and updates to new or existing machinery.
• Reading Mechanical Blueprints, BO
• Doing the 3D solid modeling, prototyping, and reviewing documentation through Solidworks
