Registered Dietitian (70% remote)

Clinical Registered Dietitian Position -Part-Time(70% Remote)

Overview: RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is excited to offer anopportunity for a Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team. This roleallows flexibility and a balanced blend of in-person and remote work, ensuringour patients receive the best care while our team enjoys a work-life harmony.

Schedule: 20-24hrs/week,70% remote via telehealth

Flexibility: Choose your days and hours. Only 1 onsite visit required per week,remaining hours are completed remotely via telehealth. 

Compensation: $30.00-$36.00per hour, based on experience

Travel Reimbursement: Paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred)
  
• Bachelor's degree, majoring in food and nutrition
  
• Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
  
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetics Registration
  
• Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
  
• Competency in electronic charting systems
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and patients
  
• Offer specialized support for tube feedings
  
• Communication with IDT 
  
• Deliver nutritional counseling and educational sessions for residents and their families
  
• Ensure compliance with DOH/state/federal regulations and uphold company standards
  
• Work autonomously without the need for regular training or direction
  

Desired Skills:

• Clinical Expertise: Ability to apply MNT to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients with various conditions.
  
• Assessment & Planning: Nutritional assessments, individualized care plans, collaboration with healthcare team.
  
• Communication & Relationships: Patient education, diverse populations, building rapport with residents and staff.
  
• Additional Skills: Food service, regulations, EHR proficiency, quality improvement (consider adding research, wound care, or dysphagia management as desired).
