Job Description

Metal Finisher:

Monday-Thursday 6 AM-5 PM

Art foundry and workshop in Bastrop, TX is looking for Metal Finishers with the ability to function independently or semi-independently. We are looking for employees who are ready to learn on the job and contribute positively to the team.

Job Duties:

• Polishing, buffing, and sanding

• Shaping and creating new pieces

• Understanding instructions and drawings to shape pieces

• Inspecting completed pieces with strong attention to detail.

• Using measuring equipment

Requirements:

• lift 50 lbs.

• Showcase responsibility and work semi-independently.

• Respect for colleagues and upholding an inclusive work environment.

• 1 year experience with metal shaping or grinding.

• Familiarity with metal finish tools and measuring equipment.

• Pass a pulmonary function test.

• Experience in body shop or similar preferred.
