Warehouse Supervisor

Candidate Source has an opening for a Warehouse Manager in Ashland, VA. Our client is a growing Paper Converting & Sheeting Company that is looking for a proactive leader to manage their warehouse operations, ensuring the effective handling of inventory, shipments, and team leadership in a high-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to grow within the Manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Manage daily operations including receiving, storing, and shipping products. Use PaperSoft to maintain accurate records, schedule deliveries, and oversee inventory.

• Warehouse Operations: Handle paperwork, manage raw to finished goods processing, ensure compliance with safety standards, and optimize space and resource usage.

• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with transporters for timely product delivery, manage schedules, and resolve delivery issues swiftly.

• Team Leadership: Oversee converting operations support, motivate staff towards goals, provide training, and manage performance. Manage a team of 5-10 employees.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in warehouse management, logistics, or manufacturing.

• Expertise with inventory management and logistics.

• Experience in the Paper converting/sheeting OR box manufacturing is a plus.

• Comfortable using WMS systems. Experience with PaperSoft is a PLUS.

• Strong leadership and multitasking abilities.

• Comfortable traveling to the Ashland area.

• Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm.
