Customer Service Representative, Logistics CSR
We’re immediately hiring a Customer Service Representative for a large logistics company in Carson, CA.
You’ll earn $18 to $20 an hour, depending on your experience, and work Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 4PM. The facility offers free onsite parking and an employee lunchroom with a microwave, refrigerator and vending machines. Plus, you will be eligible for sick pay, insurance coverage, referral bonuses and more.
As a Customer Service Rep, you will be responsible for assisting customers with questions and issues. You will also be expected to:
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, carriers, and suppliers.
Accurately process orders from start to finish.
Monitor shipments and communicate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Provide dispatch and drivers with support, as needed.
Ensure all costs are approved in writing and scanned into the system.
To be considered, you must have at least two (2) years of customer service experience in the logistics or transportation industry and:
Have completed some prior college coursework.
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong documentation skills.
The ability to effectively communicate via email, in-person and over the phone.
