Mechanical Engineer (HVAC/Building Systems) - $80K to $90K!

Responsibilities:
Develops, modifies and/or reviews drawings of electrical, mechanical or structural systems or components, according to established standards. Develops solutions to technical problems.
 Coordinates project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians.
 Reviews drawings supplied by vendors, clients, and engineers and architects and recommends necessary changes.
 Prepares plans, drawing specifications, cost estimates, reports, field observations/punch list and responds to RFIs.
 Researches code issues and works with City, State, and County officials.
 Researches design options and documents findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers. .
 Prepare, review and coordinate drawings from others in the discipline as well as other disciplines and coordination of the project with City, State, and County officials, and other outside agencies.
 Assists with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
 May attend “kick-off” and design review meetings, and interacts with clients as his or her level of experience progresses.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline. preferred. Two year technical degree, required.
- 3+ years of experience in the design of engineering systems, required.
- 3+ years of experience working with REVIT and AutoCAD, required
- Possess EIT certification. preferred
