WAREHOUSE, SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK

Reports to: Parts Manager

Job Summary

Receives, stores, and issues materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.

Job Duties:

Perform daily cycle counts.
Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items; checks against suppliers' count and our purchase order and immediately report discrepancies to supervisor.
Pull and package customer parts orders for outbound shipments.
Pull parts orders for the service department.
Prepare UPS or LTL paperwork for outbound shipments.
Create new locations in the warehouse for new inventory.
Put stock away in correct locations and bins that parts are assigned to.
Once certified through IDE, safely operate various styles of lift trucks.
Load/ unload trucks using a forklift or hand truck.
Safely secure loose pieces to a pallet for shipment.
Keep shelves and bins clean and free of clutter.
Stay focused and customer-oriented.
Able to multitask and prioritize.
Able to lift at least 50lbs.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Represent IDE in a professional manner to co-workers, vendors, and customers.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: A few months to one year of related experience.

Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
