Job Description

Front Desk / Chiropractic Assistant:

Bright, energetic, detail-oriented, person that can multitask. Busy Chiropractic office looking for a motivated individual who enjoys teamwork and likes to help people. Good pay and opportunities. Must be organized, a self starter and motivated to learn. We are looking to hire a reliable and dependable individual to join our team immediately.

Requirements: looking for an individual that values patient care and customer service, team player, strong interpersonal skills and excellent work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing general office duties such as maintaining records, management of database system and reports
Making sure patients complete necessary paperwork
Weekly scheduling of appointments.
Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Managing inventory
Performing and assisting with therapeutic modalities with training
Keeps patients informed of wait times and manages visit expectations
Communicates patient concerns and needs to the physician
Assists in routine clerical functions such as filing of medical information in patient's records, locating and compiling department charts, obtaining medical records from other providers.
Taking a proactive role to increase office productivity and efficiency

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
Prior experience in either a physician office, outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting is welcomed.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and email
Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters
One or more years of demonstrated customer service experience

Strong communication skills to relate to physicians, patients and other office staff
