Accounts Payable Manager

The Accountants Payable Manager will manage a team of AP Specialists responsible for cash flow and payment to vendors and suppliers. Our AP team ensures we process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures team is reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment

• Oversees the invoice and general-ledger data entry

• Manages and executes credit card and bank account reconciliation

• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

• At least three years of related experience required.

• Experience in A/E/C Industry with DelTek ERP preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as accounting software.

• Thorough understanding of accounting procedures.

• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.

• Ability to manage confidential information.
