WORK ENVIRONMENT

- This position works primarily in a vehicle and frequently operates a tow truck. Physical requirements of this role include:
- Ability to drive short & long distances
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for extended periods of time
- Ability to maneuver around vehicles and equipment in tight spaces
- Ability to routinely move equipment up to 50 pounds by oneself and more with assistance
- Ability to constantly position oneself to stand, stoop, reach or kneel for extended periods of time
JOB SUMMARY
As a truck & trailer driver, you will play an essential role as the person who is responsible for providing an exceptional towing experience for our guests and providing roadside assistance when needed. Truck & trailer drivers are also responsible for delivering and completing dealer trades, customer vehicle pick up/deliveries, as well as, driving service customers to their desired locations as their vehicle gets serviced. Truck & trailer drivers should have a positive attitude and be flexible to take trips/deliveries when they come up.
The schedule for this position varies.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (A TYPICAL DAY)
- Operate a tow truck in a safe and responsible manner, including securing the vehicles properly for transport to prevent damage or accidents
- Respond promptly to service calls/delivery requests and provide assistance to management & customers
- Deliver dealer trades/customer deliveries/service customers in a safe, timely manner
- Thoroughly fill out drivers logs with correct corresponding receipts attached and turn into Human Resources at the end of every pay period
- Maintain accurate records of drives and service calls and perform routine truck maintenance if needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies and safety protocols
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE HAS…
- Valid US driver's license with clean record
- Previous experience in towing or related experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and remain composure in high pressure situations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities
- Attention to detail and organization skills

- Ability to use navigation systems
- Adaptability and flexibility
