Job description
$20-$23 per Hour, weekly bonuses, paid holidays, PTO and retirement fund. We are looking for either Part-time or Full-time. Open to possibly starting part-time, and turning into full-time, as work load increases.
We are a small family owned franchise business, that employs a team of licensed general contractors who are hired to do handyman work in customers homes. We are growing the franchise, and have added new territories and are in need of another office staff member to help with grow the business with us. We are looking for a reliable, customer service-focused, office employee who is knowledgeable, reliable, dedicated, and a fun team player, to add to our current team. We are experienced in many areas of service, and know the value of building relationships with our clients. You would be a key member of the office team and represent Mr. Handyman on customer calls, estimating, with occasional social media posting. You would also be responsible for handling service requests, customer questions, scheduling, lead follow up, and light bookkeeping. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming calls, emails, website questions in professional and courteous manner
- Return customer calls, respond to customers, and resolve issues
- Schedule services and dispatch technicians
- Perform marketing functions to sell additional work and earn business
- Learn to estimate and sell over the phone
- Social Media posting
- Perform administrative functions including data entry, payment processing, and supply inventory
Job Requirements:
- Previous customer service and sales experience
- Bookkeeping experience is a plus
- Social media understanding
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills
- Team player who can work independently
- Knowledge of basic home repairs, DIY, or handyman experience is a plus
