Resource Area for Teaching (RAFT) seeks a Program Manager to support the growth and success of various STEAM programs for summer, after-school, and extended learning initiatives. As the Program Manager you will be responsible for managing program implementation and oversee seasonal staff recruitment including interviews, scheduling, registration, administrative support, and continuous improvement efforts. Sample of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in staffing coordination for student programs, including recruitment, interviews, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Help coordinate operations for RAFT summer, after-school, and intersession programming, working closely with campus administrators and external stakeholders.
- During the school year, facilitate STEAM activities at RAFT Maker Mobile and district or partner STEAM events.
- Assist in managing contracts for STEAM Dreambox and DreamCamp.
- Aid in fostering partnerships with after-school providers to promote STEAM Dreambox and other RAFT products and services.
- Manage the camp registration process and record keeping including platform management, parent communication, document sharing, reporting, etc.
- Support the launch and execution of student programs, collaborating with the Marketing and IT Departments for advertising campaigns, online registration, communication, and budgeting.
- Contribute to data analysis efforts to evaluate program efficacy and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Knowledge of K-12 education issues and opportunities is desirable.
- Comfortable organizing virtual and in-person professional learning opportunities and training events.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic project management skills.
- Familiarity with NGSS and CCSS learning standards preferred.
- Comfortable using technology, including GSuite, information systems, and digital meeting tools (e.g., Zoom).
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- 3 or more years of experience in teaching or managing student programs.
- Experience in marketing student programs and services.
- Familiarity with managing MOUs, invoicing, and district contracting activities.
- Previous experience supporting part-time and seasonal instructors is beneficial.
