Job Summary:

  • Community Liaisons picks up and delivers packages, documents and other items.
  • Community Liaisons facilitates customer partnering, prepares and delivers custom corporate messages and materials to our customers' communities.
Essential Functions:
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON adheres to legal and ethical requirements regarding the products and services of the agency.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON insures compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON ensures accuracy of messages taken.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON maintains accurate filing, office material, and ensures office equipment is maintained at acceptable working levels.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON assists with appropriate handling of faxes, emails, and scanning of documentation.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON works within company financial goals, and acts to ensure cost containment.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON identifies and reacts accordingly to problems as they arise, offering solutions for quick resolution.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON communicates effectively with business office and clinical personnel.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON is sensitive to the needs of our clients, family, physicians, staff, and support services.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON participates in training and in-service programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON reviews and reacts in a timely manner to daily and weekly reports as assigned.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON promotes a positive attitude at all times.
  • The COMMUNITY LIAISON performs other duties as assigned or as needed.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
Training Requirements:
  • A minimum of one year related experience preferred
  • Proficiency in contact management software (Office, Excel, Power Point) preferred
Knowledge Requirements:
  • Must be able to talk through oral and written expression to convey information effectively.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Professional Requirements:
  • Maintains and ensures HIPAA compliance.
  • Responsible and accountable to the Administrator and the CEO regarding time availability and performance.
  • Maintains good rapport and cooperative working relationships with physicians, referrals sources, regulatory agencies and staff.
  • Adheres to company dress code.
  • Attends annual review and departmental in-service training.
Other information:
  • Must have valid State driver's license and have a clean driving record.
  • The applicant does not have record of a crime, offense or misdemeanor as defined in 97.241 of the Texas Administrative Code, Title 40, and Chapter 97.
  • The candidate must adhere to high personal and professional ethical values.
  • The candidate agrees to adhere by THCS Credo and Behavioral Expectations.
