Peer Recovery Support Specialist

Pyramid Healthcare, an industry leader in behavioral healthcare, is excited to announce the acquisition of Mountaineer Recovery Center. At Pyramid Healthcare at Mountaineer we will be specializing in Substance Use Disorder treatment. We have been in operations since 1999 and currently operate over 80 programs in 8 different states, offering a full continuum of high-quality behavioral health care for individuals suffering from substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and other behavioral health issues. Job duties/responsibilities:

• Provide lived experience expertise and interact with multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Maintain regular contact with referral sources as indicated
• Update on consumer’s progress; participate in regularly scheduled treatment team meetings
• Prepare and conduct reviews with referral sources
• Medical record documentation and documentation of all client or peripheral contacts
• Provide transportation for clients to access community resources
• Emergency services duty on rotation that may include commitment procedures, after hour assessments, crisis planning, and hospital diversion
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• Peer Recovery Support Specialist certificate in West Virginia
