Position Overview: We are looking for a Corporate Accountant to join our team. This position will be responsible for developing and performing the functions of the accounting department while maintaining best practices and legal compliance. These duties will include tasks such as payables, receivables, work in progress, preparation of monthly financials, annual budgets, and providing accounting support to management and associates.

Position Overview: This position is responsible for developing and performing the functions of the accounting department while maintaining practices and legal compliance. These duties will include tasks such as payables, receivables, work in progress, preparation of monthly financials, annual budgets, and providing accounting support to management and associates

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Process and support account payables and/or receivables.
  2. Track monthly work in progress and provide status updates.
  3. Prepare various monthly financial statements.
  4. Assist with client billing.
  5. Conduct share value calculations and quarterly shareholder distribution reporting.
  6. Assist with developing annual budgets.
  7. Provides support on all accounting related matters.
  8. Maintains accounting best practices, standards, and legal compliance.
  9. Advises management and associates on accounting related matters.
  10. Maintains confidentiality of privileged company.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relatable business field.

Experience: 4+ years accounting experience required. 6+ years accounting experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office

Specific Requirements:

Proficiency in various accounting related software programs.

Knowledge of accounting best practices and legal compliance.

Physical Requirements:

Typically sitting at a desk or table for long periods.

Intermittently bending, standing, and stooping.

Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
