Position Overview: AWISCO is seeking an experienced and proactive individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Store Director. This role will oversee the inside sales team, manage daily sales, and retail operations, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the entire customer experience, ensuring prompt handling of inquiries and follow-up to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and provide leadership to the inside sales team in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Delegate duties and responsibilities to increase business efficiency and staff development.
- Interview, hire, and train new employees, and oversee the continued development and training needs of all direct reports.
- Oversee maintenance and inventory management of the store, including addressing open orders and closing pending orders.
- Drive sales growth through exceptional customer service and effective sales techniques.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints effectively and promptly.
- Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into training programs.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in inside sales, counter sales, or retail management.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of welding and industrial supplies is preferred but not required.
