Warehouse Employee/Driver

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

• Processing of customer orders

• Loading or unloading incoming/outgoing trucks

• Completing receiving/shipping paperwork

• Putting stock material in racking with color coding, maintaining a safe work environment, general equipment cleaning/maintenance, once professionally trained also assist in servicing walk-in or telephone customers.

• Driving to pick up materials safely and courteously from vendors and deliver orders to our customers.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operation of vehicle in a safe, legal, and courteous manner always.

• Check vehicle condition, measuring and tie down equipment every morning before leaving.

Report any unsafe item in writing as soon as it is discovered.

• When picking up at vendors, verify the count, size, grade & condition of all material before leaving

The vendor’s premises. Phone the office with any discrepancies.

• Report any customer dissatisfaction to the office immediately.

• Manage all paperwork per Sales Order & Purchase Order flow charts.

• Keep the vehicle clean and neat.

• Assist in serving walk-in or telephone customers.

• Prepare customer orders in the shop, based on material and size specifications.

• All aspects of loading/unloading delivery trucks.

• Putting away stock material.

• Keeping the warehouse clean and safe.

• Providing excellent customer service.

• Perform other duties as directed by the Franchisee.
