Who We Are:
We are an end-to-end Renewable Energy provider, offering products to commercial and enterprise clients in EV Charging Energy, Fleet Electrification, Solar Micro-grids, Energy storage, Hydroponic farming and Rain Water/Grey Water collection systems. We have been experiencing tremendous growth in all these areas and operate under several government rebate programs that ensure a steady and reliable flow of revenues. Our company handles the entire flow of providing these products and services beginning with Sales, Provisioning, Design and Engineering, Contracting and Construction, Servicing and Maintenance. We are a licensed C-10 contractor and operate construction crews in various areas of CA and soon the rest of the U.S.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner who is capable of working well independently and as a member of our team and who understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion. The HRBP will partner with employees at all levels of the organization to provide support with talent acquisition, new hire onboarding, employee training, coaching, and planning for performance in accordance with company objectives. Performs a wide range of human resources functions. Duties include but not limited to Full Cycle recruiting, hiring and training new and existing employees. Manage payroll, maintain vital employee records and ensure the smooth operation of the HR department. The HRBP will handle all written and verbal employee queries with the utmost confidentiality.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, drawing up HR documents, corresponding with recruitment agencies, organizing training sessions and events, updating company policies and ensuring they comply with labor laws. Essential Functions:
  • Works closely with Director of Human Resources to drive key elements of performance management, complex employee relations, leadership development and retention
  • Provides support to management and employees in areas such as benefits, payroll, compensation and talent acquisition
  • Ensures fair and complete resolution to employee relations matters, considering all risk and liability to the company while leveraging the appropriate resources for support when needed
  • Proficiency in compliance with state labor laws, legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resource functions
  • In-person/virtual visits to offices to support the implementation of strategic HR plans, investigations, terminations and handle other HR specific needs
  • Proactively consult with leadership on performance management, employee engagement and development including progressive discipline, reward and recognition and training
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Addresses performance issues in a timely manner, utilizing the Companys disciplinary procedures as a guideline
  • Documents all verbal and written counseling, meets with the employee and manager regularly to track the status of improvement of performance initiatives and brings issues to closure
  • Keeps the Director of HR apprised of issues relating to performance, staffing or employment
  • Partners with Director and Management on the analysis and justification of filling open positions
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the company
  • Investigates work related accidents and prepares reports for Workers Compensation insurance carrier
  • Conducts exit interviews for staff terminating within assigned region/department
  • Gathers documentation for all terminations including resignation letter if for unemployment claims
  • Oversees Anti-Harassment Training certification for assigned region ensuring 100% compliance
  • Supports the HR Learning & Development team with training for managers, supervisors and employees
  • Conducts new hire orientation for assigned regions/departments
  • Works with the Compensation team to coordinate the annual salary review process for assigned regions/departments
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Masters degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5+ years of Human Resources experience with a broad exposure to HR activities.
  • HR Certifications is a plus

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
Physical Requirements:
  • Stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, type, and write.
  • Reach with hands and arms, bend, stand on a stool or climb, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Use standard office equipment such as computers, smart phones, printers, photocopiers, etc.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lift files and open desk drawers and filing cabinets.

Pay: $66,560 to $74,880 annual
  • The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift Mondays Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
