Production Leader - Starting pay $33.65/hr!

BIOLYPH is seeking an experienced, team-oriented, and responsive Production Leader. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $33.65/hour with milestone increases, a 4-day a week schedule, competitive benefits, and a culture of life-work balance.

This position primarily supports the Production Manager and guides area-specific Leaders, ensuring a successful environment for employees. The chosen candidate will be a strong communicator who can motivate their team to produce BIOLYPH’s quality standard of Perfect Finished Parts. This will be done in alignment with BIOLYPH’s business model of producing our Clients’ IVD/RUO products Effectively, Efficiently, and Economically.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for Line Leader guidance and scheduling.
• Ensure Work Instructions and company policies are followed.
• Verify workflow and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.
• Prepare Production Team for daily operations.
• Responsible for batch record assembly and review.
• Perform facility walkthroughs daily to identify issues, provide employee feedback, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Responsible for ensuring training records are up to date, training is completed in accordance with the established system, and employees are making progress on goals.
• Available for questions and instruction.
• Address employee concerns and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Attend troubleshooting meetings and provide input.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and Quality Assurance investigations.
• Fill in positions in Production as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a FDA regulated or ISO certified industry required; medical device experience preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership experience. Demonstrated ability to lead others while creating a positive work environment.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lift 10 lbs routinely/often/occasionally.

• Ability to push/pull 25 lbs occasionally.
