Maintenace Tecnician

Manufacturing Technician

2nd shift - 4pm to 2am- $25 or higher, with experience and OT.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair electro-mechanical equipment Arcade cabinets, Video Slot machines and associated computer and lighting electronics.

· Determine root cause of failure for in-process failures.

· Maintain and adapt test benches as needs evolve.

·· Work in a team environment alongside Engineering, Technical and Field Service to discuss procedures and any changes that may be required to ensure quality of product.

· Record quality data to track problems and trends.

· Load/program firmware to peripheral devices.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

General Required Skills and Qualities

· Problem Solving: Need to be able to identify issues and make corrective measures to fix problems with electronic components.

· Proficient at reading and understanding schematics and wiring Diagrams to be able to solve problems associated with electronic components.

· Use Deductive Reasoning to look at problems, isolate the issue and solve the problem.

· Must have excellent manual dexterity: Good Soldering skills. Work with hand tools used for wiring and terminating cables. Experience working with multiple types of cable connectors.

· Basic Network Understanding

· Knowledge and experience working with cable harnesses.

· Experience with updating Software and firmware on various Peripheral devices.

· Conduct hardware testing – Flat Screen Monitors, Motherboards, circuit boards and other peripherals such as card readers and Bill validators.

· Proficient documenting and recording failure data and other required data collection.

· Proficient Keyboard and typing skills.

· Proficient with Excel, Word and other Microsoft office applications.

· Excellent Verbal and written communication.

· Excels at working in a team environment.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams to perform analysis and repair.

· Proficient with DMM, oscilloscope, and basic hand tools.

· Exhibit strong problem-solving and intrapersonal skills.

· Experience creating and maintaining processes/procedures.

· Strong communication and technical writing skills.
