About being our Land Survey Intern

As a Survey Intern, you will utilize your skills to contribute to the execution and delivery of survey projects while working in a team-oriented setting and interacting with coworkers.

Responsibility Highlights for our Land Survey Intern

• This internship position will mostly be office-oriented, but may include field work, if needed
• May require learning multiple software platforms to process survey data
• Perform COGO calculations, weighted adjustments, and levelling data processing.
• Prepare CAD drawings, field packages, and reports.
• Research of record deeds, review of title reports, and map analysis
• Filing of field notes and other survey-related tasks
• May work with multiple LiDAR collection equipment and multiple processing platforms.

Minimum Qualifications to be our Land Survey Intern

• Seeking a 3rd or 4th year student, majoring in Engineering or Surveying from an accredited university
• Must have successfully passed Introductory and Advanced Plane Surveying courses, as well as computer-aided drafting fundamental coursework
• Familiar with AutoCAD, preferably Civil3D and/or MicroStation
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
