Inland River Pilot

Brightwork Group is a maritime recruiting agency working to match great mariners with great companies.

Currently we are seeking Inland Pilots with Master of Towing Vessels Upon Inland Waterways & Western Rivers endorsements or Towing Near Coastal and/or higher. We are hiring on behalf of an inland tug and barge client that is actively looking to fill several positions. The company's fleet operates exclusively on Inland and Western Rivers providing a wide range of dry / liquid cargo and towing services with vessels that run from 2,000 to 6,000 HP.

The salary range is $660-$845 per day based on experience and vessel assignment. The work schedule is 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off and the watch schedule is a standard 6 and 6. Full benefits such as Health Insurance, Dental, Life, Short Term and Long Term Disability, 401K with match, etc. All travel to and from the vessel is paid for.
