Theme Park Operations Manager

WonderWorks Destiny in Syracuse, NY is looking for an enthusiastic Theme Park Operations Manager to join our team!

The Theme Park Operations Manager concentrates on leading smooth operations of the facility and managing employees to ensure guests have the most WONDERful experience possible!

Responsibilities:

• Help others as needed to maintain an exciting & dazzling experience for our team & guests!
• Understand and manage Guest Services, Retail, and Food & Beverage processes during shifts
• Ensure facility maintains a safe and clean environment for all team members and guests
• Supervise team members, from interviewing to recognition to counseling to exits
• Effectively train, manage, and empower team members to provide optimal food and guest service
• Provide operational support for group and special events as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Observational skills to recognize guest needs and ensure guest happiness
• Must be able to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to multi-task, work with limited supervision and make reasonable and ethical decisions quickly
• 2+ years of Operations Management in Guest Services, Retail, and Food & Beverage experience required to allow for optimal success
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
