Job Description
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team! You will learn to safely operate a SpiderPlow cable & pipe laying plow and winch crawler.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate industrial equipment
- Inspect trucks before and after use
- Communicate need for maintenance and repair
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of 4-7 years of Heavy Equipment Operating Experience in Underground Utilities Construction with multiple types of equipment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solar farm/wind farm experience a plus.
- Excavator/forklift/construction equipment operation experience preferred.
- Willing to do laborer work.
- Ability to work as a Team Member and work in a professional manner and a positive attitude.
- Motivated self-starter and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment.
- Mechanically inclined and pay attention to details.
- High School diploma/GED preferred.
- Flexible availability to include overtime and weekends.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly via phone and e-mails.
- 100% travel required.
