Computer Technician

We are seeking a Computer Technician to join our growing IT Team! You will handle a variety of tasks and projects which will support and improve our organization's overall systems. These include but are not limited to; maintain, installing, repairing computers, networks, and iPads. We are looking for someone who is well versed in computer systems and network functions. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately, as well as possess great problem-solving skills to fix issues and ensure functionality of all systems.

Weekly Hours: Full Time M-F (Onsite)

Hourly Wage: $17-20 per hour (Based off experience)

Responsibilities:

·         Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers.

·         Troubleshoot network & system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.

·         Maintaining and updating computer software and hardware.

·         Servicing office equipment like printers and IT networks

·         Ensuring that internet security software runs without interruptions.

·         Analyzing IT problems within a department keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference.

·         Installing new IT equipment and software.

·         Testing and implementing new software programs for the company.

·         Set up/Take down/Perform routine preventative maintenance on desktops.

·         Keep track of inventory/order inventory to ensure appropriate stock is in the office.

·         Document all technical procedures and user guides.

·         IOS/iPad Troubleshooting, both remotely and in person

·         Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies.

·         Offer timely assistance with deskside support, as well as assisting field employees through remote access software.

​Qualifications:

·         Proven experience as computer technician or similar role

·         AA/AS or BSc/BA in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field (Preferred)

·         Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) will be an advantage (Preferred)

·         Thorough knowledge of Azure, Office 365, computer systems and IT components

·         Ability to prioritize and multitask.

·         Deadline and detail-oriented

·         Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

·         Ability to work in a team

·         Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
