In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing to an inviting and hygienic atmosphere for our valued guests.

Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions provided by the Beverage Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Restaurant Manager regarding daily tasks and duties.
• Demonstrate understanding of assigned tasks, including proper procedures for maintaining and cleaning machinery/tools in use.
• Provide assistance to barbacks, runners, and server assistants as needed.
• Understand the chemicals being used and their respective purposes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the polishing station, including periodic sweeping and mopping of floors, as well as managing trash disposal and bag replacement as required.
• Communicate any equipment, tools, or chemicals needed for assigned tasks to the Restaurant Manager.
• Ensure the care of plate ware, glassware, and flatware, ensuring dirty items are not returned to shelves.
• Ensure compliance with all HACCP standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, enforcing sanitation standards throughout the facility.
• Adhere to assigned schedules and follow daily cleaning assignments as outlined by management, including deep cleaning tasks.
• Understand and adhere to all relevant programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
• Understand the philosophy of management and demonstrate consistent attention to detail while adhering to all restaurant policies.
• Collaborate with the team to cultivate a culture and work environment based on respect, fostering opportunities for learning, growth, and skill development.
• Report to work punctually and as scheduled, understanding shift endings as approved by the Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Promptly communicate any problems, challenges, complaints, or service difficulties to the manager on duty or Beverage Manager.
• Remain available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, following directives from the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in restaurant cleaning or a similar role is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, with a focus on safe and effective usage.
• Flexibility in working hours, including availability for weekends and evenings as required by business needs.
