Summary of Functions

As a Service Repair Administrator at Air Comm, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our repair team to achieve their targets and provide seamless customer experiences. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks related to repair operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the repair process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle the processing of repair orders, including verifying order information, pricing, and availability of products.
  • Provide outstanding customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
  • Collaborate with the repair team to coordinate repair activities, including scheduling appointments, arranging product demonstrations, and preparing repair presentations.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the inventory team to ensure availability of products for timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and documentation, including customer information, repair contracts, and order histories.
  • Generate repair reports and analysis to track repair performance, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
  • Facilitate communication between repair team members, customers, and other departments within the organization to ensure smooth execution of repair activities.
  • Utilize the CRM system to manage customer interactions, track leads, and update repair data.
  • Provide general administrative support to the repair team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing repair-related documents.
  • Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.

Experience/Education

  • Previous experience in repair administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Company will provide additional training, as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of two-way radio systems or related technology preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills and creativity applied to resolution of issues.
  • Highly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and advise project leadership on complex issues.
  • Good problem-solving skills/decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, management, and other co-workers, both individually and in front of a group is important.
  • Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is also essential.
  • Sitting for extended period is common.
  • No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 25 pounds of force occasionally may be required.
  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculator, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Good reasoning ability and decision-making is important.
  • Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.


Work Environment

The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting.
