Shift: Day Shift

Pay: $16.00 to $17.00

Who we are:

Our client manufactures custom magnetics including transformers, reactors, chokes, inductors, and custom enclosures. They are looking to go their team at their facility near North Canton, OH.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Role:

Responsible for performing all functions and operations necessary to receive materials of acceptable quality for production and / or shipment including preparations and processing all necessary documents for that or related activity.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:

• Process all types of incoming shipments which includes: unloading materials with cranes, fork lift, or manually, sign for, uncrate, identify, check or qualify, label and receive materials, and deliver all processed materials to proper destination.
• Check all incoming materials against purchase orders and packing list descriptions.
• Reports discrepancies in materials received including damaged materials.
• Process and distribute all receiving documents and freight bills and maintain proper receiving files.
• Report discrepancies in materials received including damaged materials, etc. and issue proper disposition requests.
• Disburse all materials to stores, area as directed or in accordance with defined procedures or instructions.
• Coordinates in-plant transfer of materials.
• Process all types of outbound shipments which includes: loading materials with cranes, fork lift, or manually.
• Provide for and institute necessary precautions to prevent damage of parts and / or finished equipment while in transit.
• Investigate and resolve questions and errors, which develop in the course of normal shipping operations.
• Take physical counts of all expense materials as required.
• Check, identify, and prepare all types of outgoing materials for shipment to customers or vendors which includes measuring materials, determining type of packaging or crating to meet acceptable domestic or export shipment which includes skids, crates, blocking, cardboard containers etc., label containers as required.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Perform routine maintenance and clean up of machines in shipping area as required.

About You:

• High school diploma
• Operate tow motor/forklift is preferred
• Must be able to lift 50lbs in a factory setting
