Furniture Delivery Driver/Helper

Job Overview:
Williams Tranzport is a family owned and operated delivery service. Williams Tranzport is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations using a box truck. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
Duties:
- Safely operate a box truck to transport furniture and appliances to designated locations
- Load and unload furniture and appliances using four wheel dolly or other equipment as needed
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
-Appliance delivery/installation
-Furniture delivery/assembly
Qualifications:
- Valid Class C driver's License [Driver Only]
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role [Driver Only]
- Strong knowledge of local roads and highways [Driver Only]
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [insert weight]) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred
