Duct Mech / HVAC Techs - NEEDED

Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire Sheet Metal Mechanics/Duct Installers/HVAC Techs

Starting pay will be around $26-$30 depending on experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings.
• Includes sheet metal duct installers who install prefabricated sheet metal ducts used for heating, air conditioning, or other purposes.
• Section cutting to assemble commercial rigid air conditioning duct work / systems, reading and interpreting blueprints of large chillers, specialized package units and also understanding electrical components such as lighting, panel boxes and building automation.
• Install air conditioning and ventilation equipment knowledge helpful.
• Design and install ducts and duct fittings, doing paperwork, adhering to company procedures, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience working with sheet metal, HVAC or duct work.
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams a plus.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Must have basic hand tools, all PPE and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a limited back ground check (no felonies).
