Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of wire forms custom springs and metal stampings that is currently seeking a Setup Technician to join our dynamic team in the Finishing Department. Position Overview:
As a Setup Technician in our Finishing Department, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of various machinery including Kick Press and Air Press. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in fabricating simple tools to support our production process. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate Kick Press and Air Press machinery according to production specifications.
• Fabricate simple tools as needed to support production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with production team members to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document setup procedures and communicate any issues or concerns to the production supervisor.

Salary and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in setting up and operating Kick Press and Air Press machinery.
• Ability to fabricate simple tools using hand and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with production software is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
