Job Description
I am looking for a Pipe Fitter proficient in Plant Maintenance Work (e.g., replacing valves, spool pieces, installing flange-to-flange connections, threaded fittings, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean cut/break pipe with a grinder and torch
- Hand prep J bevels, V bevels
Requirements:
- Able to read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams and piping drawings.
- Able to Fabricate pipe and assemble from blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
- Ability to bend pipe with hand bender.
- Knowledge in installing pipe hangers.
- Able to Tack Weld.
- Able to use hand tools and power tools.
- Familiar with safety rules and OSHA regs.
