If you think you'd be a great addition to our team, please apply!We are hiring for the following shifts:Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - close (around 12:00 PM)Monday - Friday: 4:00 PM - close (around 11:30 PM)Saturday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - close (around 12:00 PM)Saturday - Sunday: 4:00 PM - close (around 11:30 PM)Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision offered after qualification period Employee discounts at IHG Hotels worldwide 401k with match offered after qualification period Commuter benefits offered Referral bonus program - $200/referred employee after 30 days of employment, some restrictions apply Seattle Paid Safe Sick Leave Vacation time accrued based on hours worked Overtime pay for holidays worked - 10 holidays per year Free parkingJob Duties: Deliver the F&B service culture, by putting guests at ease, making genuine connections, and creating moments of delight Acknowledge and engage associates and guests in a positive, helpful manner Maintain kitchen cleanliness standards Adhere to opening / closing and weekly cleaning check lists Inform the Manager about food inventory, rotation and ordering needs Answer questions about items including ingredients and cooking time Manage cleanliness and organization of Walk-In, Freezer and Dry Storage areas Monitor the quality of items on the line and informs Manager if items are past usable quality date or are in low supply Makes all freshly-prepared items according to recipe. Prepares Grab 'n Go items according to prep / pull lists. Packages, labels and stores according to standards Receive, and properly store, all delivered items and take inventory as required Maintain sanitary and organized dish pit Responsible for the quality and consistency of all items made during shift Utilize all checklists before each shift, ensuring the station is set up for a successful shift Prep items and maintain them at safe temperatures for storage and usage Clean and sanitize station and work areas before and after shift Safely and properly handle F&B products, inventory and equipment Report any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to Manager Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor Fill in for absent staff as needed Adhere to all hotel policies Complete closing/reconciliation activities Respond appropriately to guest complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines to ensure total guest satisfaction Regularly seek and use guest feedback to ensure that special needs and requests are fulfilled
